When a device reports that a disabled VLAN is currently in use, an alert icon in form of a red triangle will appear in the status column of the Access Point or Switch list. On mouse hover, one of the following two messages will pop-up:
- Disabled VLAN in use: SSID name; or
- Disabled VLAN in use: wired clients.
What does it mean?
This means that the reported SSID (or wired client) has been configured in Bridge mode using a VLAN that is currently disabled.
What to do?
To solve this issue, you can either:
- Enable the related VLAN in the VLAN settings;
- Switch to an enabled VLAN; or
- Switch from Bridge to another mode.
Depending on the error displayed, the latter two points can be performed either in the SSID settings or in the network settings (for the wired clients warning). You can quickly reach these settings pages by clicking on the gear icon in the error message pop-up.

The SSID (or wired clients) will fall back to routing mode automatically while the warning is active.
